Positive: While there are two apartments on this property, we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. It was photos of the view from this location that stuck with me and it did not disappoint in reality. Our family of four was able to eat a few meals, play games and read at the outdoor patio table. The doors and windows have screens which was reassuring to keep bugs out. The interior was immaculate, smelled clean and there was a lot of attention to detail. It is a very comfortable living space. We chose not to convert the couch into a bed in the living room in order to preserve the comfort of that room. Instead our daughters used the converted daybed in the dining room and mentioned how they slept very well. The location of the place is wonderful-a few hundred stairs down gets you right into the city center and a 5 minute gradual walk up gets you to some lovely vineyards and walking paths.
Negative: While there was nothing that I didn't like, it would have been easier to cook in the kitchen if there was foil and a few basic spices and we were not able to use the washing machine because there was no detergent .
